Service description
SubShield helps you track recurring subscription charges and cancellation proof derived from email evidence. The service provides informational tools only — not legal, tax, or financial advice.
Your responsibilities
- You control your Gmail account and merchant subscriptions
- You must cancel subscriptions directly with merchants — SubShield does not cancel for you
- Derived data may be incomplete; review before making financial decisions
Gmail connector
Connecting Gmail requires consent to limited read-only scopes documented in docs/GMAIL_SCOPE_JUSTIFICATION.md. Session access expires periodically; reconnect to scan again.
Billing
Paid plans, when enabled, are processed by Stripe. Subscription status gates Gmail connector access when SUBSHIELD_BILLING_ENFORCE is on.
Limitation of liability
SubShield is provided as-is during alpha/beta. Bookiji Inc is not liable for missed renewals, merchant charges, or reliance on derived data. Formal legal terms pending sign-off (BKI-SUB-037).
